Teamletter® - Blacklist Prevention

Teamware takes various measures to check the Teamletter® servers for eventual blacklisting.

Member of eco community and participation in CSA whitelisting

Teamletter® was accepted as a member of the "Certified Senders Alliance" by eco community on 15.06.2005 and is therefore whitelisted among the participating email providers.

Example: 1&1, Arcor, AOL Germany, Colt, QSC, etc.
This means those providers accept emails sent by Teamletter® without spam filtering because Teamletter® meets the strict criteria of the eco community. More information: www.eco.de.

24/7 monitoring of the most important international blacklists

To be notified automatically about blacklistings Teamware uses a monitoring software which checks the most important blacklists every 5 minutes for eventual listing of the Teamletter® servers.

Analysis of newsletter opening rates

Teamletter® offers detailled statistics about the opening- and click rates of newsletters sent. Those statistics can be filtered by recipient domains which makes domain with extremely low rates obvious. This could be a hint for an active blacklisting of a newsletter. Afterwards Teamware can contact those providers to reach a whitelisting.

Throttling of sending speed

Major providers accept only a certain amount of emails per time limit to prevent their servers from being overloaded. Der Teamletter® offers "delayed delivery" which enables you to send newsletters with short brakes after a predefined number of emails.
Example: Wait for x seconds after every y emails.

De-Listing

In case of blacklisting Teamware can immediately intervent by starting a "de-list" procedure. This allows to mark the affected server as trustworthy on the blacklist and to reach removal from the list in a short time.

Loopback address

Teamware has installed a special loopback address at major providers such as AOL which receives important status emails in case of blacklisting. This accelerates contact with the provider and avoid livelong support cases.
